The Story Behind the Picture:
«Istanbul. A city with almost 16 million inhabitants and accordingly many different faces. Fast-moving, but not hasty, many different cultures meet here, and this is what this city also shows you. Not for nothing is it called the gateway between Asia and Europe, but by no means should it be limited to that. From ancient to modern, everything happens here at the same time, side by side and with each other. Whether eating, praying, drinking tea, exchanging ideas or anything else, life in Istanbul mainly takes place between the houses. So there are also countless food stalls like this one. Food is prepared and sold on the streets practically around the clock.»
