The Story Behind the Picture:
«After a long day of glass experiments in the workshop of the Twan family, we pass the Jabba checkpoint reentering Jerusalem. To the right we see people our age carrying machine guns, to the left we look over a lush, hilly landscape. A 6 meter high wall appears, stretching endlessly through the landscape, separating the Palestinians from their holy city. We become aware of our privilege as we
conveniently cross the boarder while the Twan family remains behind the wall.»
