The Story Behind the Picture:
«Thursday. Noon. Before taking the coach towards Serbia’s more rural areas, we visited Belgrade’s Faculty of Architecture.
They were inmidst of final reviews and we were very welcome to join the discussions. After archi- tectural debates, we met the local students in the hallway. They opened first a pack of cigarets, then the tall windows facing the courtyard. We accepted the invitation.
It was only after when we ve learnt from the smir- king professors that its prohibited to smoke in the University’s building: „but yes of course in Serbia you still smoke cigarettes everywhere“.»
